I have been having massages from Marcella for several years now.  I see her because she relieves the tight knots in my muscles and also provides a very relaxing environment. Unfortunately, it seems like I see her more for problems that for relaxing massages!

The moment I lie down on the massage table, I feel better. The environment is so peaceful, it’s like taking a vacation from the stress of everyday life.  She is able to use deep pressure on the areas that I need it, and lighter pressure on other areas. When she is working the knots out, it “hurts good.”  I have referred multiple people to her and they are all as happy as I am.

Having had other massage therapy experiences that were not pleasurable (those that left bruises and left me feeling much worse than before the massage).  I have come to realize the importance of a skilled therapeutic massage executed by a professional, trained individual.  Beyond her professionalism, I find that she truly cares about each individual, their health, their circumstances - mind body and spirit.  She is dedicated to her profession and is, simply stated, one of the best!!!

Marcela is a wonderful masseuse. She not only gives you a massage, but she works very hard to ensure that she works out any problems that you have.  I once called her with very painful muscle cramps in my back and she had me come over right away. She worked on my back and gave me a full body massage.  I felt so much better.  The cramping was gone and my back was pain free and loose. I almost fell asleep during the massage it was so relaxing.  When I got home I had not realized she had been working on me for almost two hours!!  I cannot express how much I appreciate her dedication and thoroughness when it comes to her clients.  She really does care about you and wants to do what she can to make your experience the best for you. Her caring and nurturing nature really comes through in her work and personality. I was referred to Marcella from a close friend and was a bit hesitant to get a massage from someone who works out of her home. I really credit Marcela with easing the lower back discomfort and tendonitis during my second pregnancy as well as helping my body to prepare for a healthy delivery.  I began seeing her monthly during my first trimester and always felt incredibly relaxed and more comfortable after treatment.  What really impressed me was her ability to communicate the benefits of her techniques and willingness to suggest and demonstrate treatments that I could use at home to ease my pregnancy-induced tendonitis.  She is passionate about massage as well as extremely knowledgeable and personable.  I really wish I’d known about her during my first pregnancy – I highly recommend that anyone see her for prenatal massage.
